2. Website visits and hosting
When you visit this website, the web server processes connection data that is technically necessary to deliver the requested content and maintain secure operation. This may include the time of the request, the requested file or URL, HTTP status code, amount of data transferred, referrer information, and browser and operating system details. The IP address may also be processed in server logs.
This website is hosted by the following provider:
Hetzner Online GmbH
Industriestr. 25
91710 Gunzenhausen
Germany
The hosting provider processes technical connection data to operate and secure its infrastructure. Further information about data processing and log files is available in Hetzner’s privacy information. Hetzner information about privacy and log files.
Further information about data processing by Hetzner is available in the Hetzner privacy policy. Hetzner provides information about its data processing agreement here: Information about the data processing agreement.
3. Using PsyLead Lab
PsyLead Lab runs in your browser and does not require an account or a dedicated application server for the features provided here. Melodies are generated in the browser app. The app can create MIDI files for download and—after explicit browser permission, if supported by the browser—access available MIDI outputs to send notes to selected devices or software. The selected MIDI device and MIDI channels are stored in your browser’s local storage (localStorage) so they can be restored on a later visit. The application code does not send these settings to a Cybergrass server.
Access to MIDI devices is controlled by your browser’s permission system. Available MIDI devices and whether access is allowed depend on your browser, operating system, and device settings.
4. Cookies, analytics and external services
As currently configured, the website and browser app do not use analytics or advertising services. The app uses local storage (localStorage) to save the selected MIDI device and MIDI channels. These settings remain in the browser and are not sent to a Cybergrass server by the application code. The hosting provider may still create technically necessary server logs when the website is accessed.
5. Your rights
Subject to the applicable legal requirements, individuals have rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, and objection. They also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority. The rights that apply in a particular case depend on the processing involved and the applicable legal requirements.
